Mental health stigma is damaging and pervasive throughout our society. I wish that our city were different, but people living with mental health challenges face incredible stigma even within progressive, liberal communities like Olympia.
Community education and addressing stigma together is the only way that we can move forward as a community to compassionately and effectively manage the mental health challenges of so many of our neighbors and ourselves.
